Imena Holdings Limited, trading as Imena Commodities, is an agricultural and livestock company registered under Ugandan law with deep roots in the DR Congo. Our purpose is direct: produce, transform and distribute food products, and develop agriculture and livestock at the continental level.
We are already farming in Northern Uganda, where thousands of hectares of fertile, arable land and a favourable growing season support the production of maize, soya, rice, sesame, chia, sorghum and sunflower. Our medium-term goal is to develop intensive agriculture across Uganda, DR Congo and the Central African Republic to help meet the food needs of the continent.

A premium crop for health-focused markets at home and abroad. Chia rounds out our portfolio with strong margins on modest hectarage.

Sorghum, sunflower and additional cereals are on our diversification roadmap as we bring more of our 15,000 secured hectares into production.
